I was disappointed to learn today that they've closed permanently. Thank you for being in business all these years. You'll be missed.

My friend and I split the Hawaiian chicken and Ul Ppong - non-spicy seafood soup. For almost $23 and the portion, I wouldn't order the Hawaiian chicken again. The pineapple sauce was sticky and coagulated within minutes. The $17 seafood soup was plentiful and the noodles were light and fluffy. The place was known for its popular Jjajangmyun - black bean sauce over noodles - a reduced priced at $9 from $14 during lunch until 2pm, M-F. Unfortunately, we didn't order it. Place is clean. Order at the counter. Nice to walk around the Madang Courtyard.

Nice big 3rd floor noodle house. Big portions at a great price. Nice to have the parking stamp right there. It helped me not forget to get my parking stamped. Super friendly with help myself banchan to the right of the water cooler. I had my eyes on the dumplings. And my first time having Chinese Korean style. Being very tasty, but not the tastes I expected. I didn't taste the black bean flavor I know well, that being said, it was still delicious. It's was even a different taste with the noodles being soft with no chew to them. A must try bean noodle dish.

I looove jjajamyeon, so I'm happy I could find another place that makes it wonderfully! I went here with a friend, and we ordered one portion of jjajamyeon, which was plenty since the portions were large! Really pleasantly surprised by that :) The flavor for the noodles were great, and the texture was bouncy! It tasted fresh and I really enjoyed eating it the whole time - I could definitely finish a whole one next time hehe The service was great! Everyone was really sweet and offered suggestions for other items that we were looking into. There was plenty of seating indoors, so there was no issue with that. Water and utensils were self-serve. Parking was not an issue, since it's located in a little plaza that offers free parking with validation. I will definitely come back again! Thank you!

I'd like to start by saying that while I rated this restaurant 3.5 stars, I wanted Yelp to reflect 4 stars because of the exceptional service I experienced here. I stumbled upon this place while looking for a quick bite before catching a movie at CGV next door. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff at the counter who made me feel right at home. This is a "order in the front, pay, and find a seat" kind of place, with a self-service area offering side dishes, sauces, and napkins. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they offer free filtered coway water. The self-service area and all the tables were spotlessly clean and tidy. Bonus points for the cute and friendly girl taking my order! The food arrived promptly, and if you check-in on Yelp, they even offer you a free drink. Now, onto the food: my husband and I ordered jajang myun, fried dumplings, and sweet and sour pork. While the flavors were a bit unconventional and took some getting used to, they were definitely above average. Everything was just a tad above decent flavor-wise. Overall, the standout feature of this restaurant is the excellent service, coupled with a clean environment and food that's a cut above average. I'd definitely come back if I'm in a rush to eat before another movie at CGV. One last thing to note: since it's an order-first-then-sit-down place, don't forget to tip the workers at the front counter when you're paying!

This place satisfied the jajang mien cravings! Their jajang mien had super bouncy noodles and the black sauce sauce was super flavorful. I'll have to come back for the weekday noodle special where it is only $8.99! Even without the discount, I think the price is fair and the portions are huge. We also tried the the jjampong (spicy seafood noodle soup) with lots of noodles and seafood. The tofu soup with rice is a good, nonspicy, non noodle option too. Also, takeout containers are 50 cents each, so next time I'd want to bring my own containers. Overall, the portions are huge with amazing flavor! A great place for jajang mien!

Authentic Korean food, beyond the usual AYCE Korean BBQ is a wild and unexplored part of my gourmet map. I came to this place with a group of about 20, mostly Korean Americans, except for me and another friend. I was not expecting much other than not knowing what to order and went with the fried shrimp with chili sauce (which is basically the adult version of chicken nuggies and fries), and although it was a good choice in itself, it pales in comparison to the Jjajangmyun that a friend of mine allowed me to taste (I should have ordered that instead). The food is very authentic, the service is fast and efficient and the place is clean and well kept.

Check in for a free drink! We stumbled into this food court and was thinking there were no good options. That is, until we reached the upper floor and found Kyodong. The place smelled SO GOOD. The atmosphere with a bunch of locals chatting and enjoying their black bean noodles enticed me. If the locals go here, something is being done right! The cashier worker was so sweet! She greeted anyone coming to and out the door. My Half & Half ($16.98) was delicious, especially after having un-authentic ones previously. The noodles were perfect, be careful of the lash back especially if you're wearing white! And the portions were huge that you definitely could share this with one other person. I wonder if they could have adjusted the spice level, as the jjamppong was spicy for me! The Kyodong Chicken ($21.98), like their other rice dishes, does not actually come with rice. Rice is an extra $2. I really wish they just added rice, like their photos. Regardless, the deep fried chicken was so fresh and well flavored, with a heavy mayo taste to it. It got too heavy for my boyfriend, so it's definitely also a big portion for 1! If you come on weekdays, there is a discount for their black bean noodles. With friendly service, big portioned quality foods, and plentiful seating, this is the place to be for quick Korean food!

The restaurant is at the top of the shopping center which is sort of hard to find for your first visit. The venue itself is very clean and large. There's a water station and pickled radishes station adjacent to the order counter. Once you enter you order your food at the counter and you pick your table. This visit I ordered half the jjajangmyun and jjamppong bowl. I highly recommend this bowl as you get two different flavors in one sitting. It's really filling! They are also don't skimp out on the seafood for the jjamppong side which I really appreciate. I've visited this restaurant multiple times so I'd say I recommend!
